It’s been nearly a year since I revealed Alana’s Vintage Boudoir on the blog. If you recall, I designed Alana’s space as part of last Fall’s One Room Challenge. Right now, I’m in the middle of another ORC, but thought I’d throw it back a bit. Alana was such a dream to design for. I strive to bring my client’s personalities out into their spaces - and we did just that here. Her style is eclectic and sophisticated - and she favors a splash of vintage.
Since come time has gone by, a lot of the pieces we purchased are no longer available. The look I pulled together reflects the original bedroom design, but is slightly more updated with in stock items that you can run out and snag for yourself TODAY!!
It’s time to give the people what they want - the sources!! As with every design project, I get A LOT of questions about where I find everything. Typically, these sources are between myself and my clients. They are hiring me for a service - which costs them money - and I don’t want to then take the work that they paid me to do and spread all around the internet for others to copy.
For this project, however, I didn’t charge Alana. This was a collaboration and I provided her with complimentary design services in an effort to complete The One Room Challenge. For that reason, I feel comfortable showing you how to get the look yourself. A lot of what we chose for Alana’s space was vintage, so these links lead to similar options with plenty of stock. I’d love to hear from you - what pieces will you be buying for your bedroom makeover?
